New York, April 12, 2015: The GPF-PwC Entrepreneurship Clinic brought together policy-makers and practitioners who are committed to making a positive impact in society through innovative collaboration, with the aim of moving from talk to action.

The focus was on pioneering solutions for addressing social and economic challenges.  The audience heard from 6 inspiring speakers who discussed their own high-impact projects that have the potential for large-scale positive effect.

Amir Dossal, Chairman of the Global Partnerships Forum, gave the welcoming remarks and prepared the audience for conversations focused on learning and developing effective strategies to move from traditional philanthropy to smart investments & creative partnerships.

The GPF and PwC were privileged to have the honourable Ambassador Arthur Kafeero, Chef de Cabinet to the President of the 69th Session of the UN General Assembly give the Global Perspective.   Ambassador Kafeero spoke about the importance of the discussion that highlights new models that will solve economic problems, “Through innovation we can solve some of the world’s most pressing challenges”.

Ben Zelinksy, Partner, Management Consulting at PwC, closed the clinic by explaining how, upon PwC’s realization that the average age of their employees is 27, they had to change the way they operate.  He stressed how important it is for companies to adapt to new cultures that come with changing times. The importance of this shift was highlighted during the question and answer session that was led by engaged and inspired millennials who were eager to participate in the discussion.
