New York, October 8, 2014: The Global Partnerships Forum is pleased support the Geneva Dialogue Workshop on “Quality Improvement: The Missing Cornerstone Between Health Coverage and Outcome.”   The workshop which is organized in collaboration with the Swiss Tropical and Public Health Institute (Swiss TPH) will promote the idea that quality needs to be a focal point in any discussion on expanding access to healthcare to underserved communities.

“In 2010, the NFSD started the Geneva dialogues, an event series to share and discuss new approaches to tackling global health challenges with a variety of stakeholders.

Geneva dialogues have invited experts to discuss topics such as eLearning for human resources in healthcare, using mobile technology in healthcare (m-health), alliances for development and public health and how to make leprosy history. The series is hosted by the Novartis Foundation in collaboration with organizations including the World Health Organization, International Telecommunication Union, the Global Health Program of the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies, Global Partnerships Forum and the Swiss Academy for Development.” (www.Novartis.com)
